I've always been a creative...I had many interests which made it overwhelming for me to choose what I wanted to do for a living. I never even considered photography as a career, because at the time, growing up home schooled, in a small town, with not many photographers, I didn't know that was a "thing."
When I turned 19, I purchased my first laptop and discovered Photoshop and Lightroom! I loved playing with light and color and creating beautiful images. I then began taking pictures for friend's and family just to have photos to edit.
Soon people began asking how much I charged, which blew my mind because I couldn't believe people could make money doing something so fun! I continued photographing in my small town, until May of 2015 when I married my husband and moved to Orange County.
It's been a long journey of learning and growing, but every day I'm blessed to be able to do what I love and meet so many wonderful people and capture so many timeless memories!
