In the cozy confines of my studio in Mission Viejo, I recently had the joy of welcoming little Kodi, just 7 days new. What made this studio newborn session even more special was the involvement of Kodi’s big sister and his loving parents. Incorporating siblings and parents not only creates beautiful family portraits but also captures the genuine connections and emotions between the family.
The Studio Newborn Session Experience
Newborn sessions aren’t just about photographing the baby. I love these sessions for capturing the tender interactions and the love that surrounds the newest addition. This is why I always encourage siblings and parents to join in on the session. And don’t worry mama, you can choose your outfit from my client wardrobe. This way, you aren’t worried about shopping online shopping or within your closet before the session. One of the highlights of Kodi’s session was the use of a beautiful dress for his mom from my SEP client wardrobe.
From the moment Kodi was cradled in his parents’ arms to the gentle embraces shared with his sister, every moment captured this new chapter for their family. At SEP, I believe in natural, baby-led posing. The most important thing is that the little ones are comfortable and at ease throughout the session.
